A Huge Success!
Helped tremendously by the fabulously kind weather we managed to attract over 6,200 people to the very first Woodfair, indeed the very first AONB event of this kind, held on the weekend of the 20th and 21st October 2007

The numbers surpassed all expectations and the event went off almost without a hitch. Traders and exhibitors felt it was tremendous and were feeding back really positive comments on numbers, the friendliness of all the visitors, the professionalism of staff and the balance of attendees; one local craftman even said that "we had restored his faith in business".
Register your interest for future events
With the pressure now on to repeat the event, we are planning to run the event every two years - the next date being the weekend of 10th and 11th October 2009. All interested demonstrators or traders should get in touch to register their interest as should any wood craftsmen.
