The South West has more than 210,000 hectares of lush, green woods and
forests stretching from the tip of Cornwall to the borders of middle England.
As well as providing habitats for our wildlife and nice places for us
to visit the woods also have a significant part to play, socially and
economically. While more than 2,500 people rely directly on the woodlands
for their livelihoods many hundreds of others are also supported or sustained
by the trees and the timber in a variety of ways.
Woodfair South West is a showcase for these people and a marketplace for their services and products. From underwoodsmen to woodturners; foresters to furniture-makers Woodfair South West is a place to find both tradition and innovation.
You can find out about Woodfair South West events for 2008 on the official Woodfair South West Website Events Page.
